Our Hospice Company is Now Open on Weekends
In the present time, Hospice Valley is open to the public on weekends, both Saturdays and Sundays. We have decided to keep the business operation open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays in order to meet the constantly rising demand for our services. Weekends are a busy time for hospice services. There are many people who have questions or are interested in signing up for them. Consequently, with this growing demand, we saw an opportunity to stay open on Saturdays and Sundays as well. It is good news that we are now open every day in order to serve you and we are very grateful for this.
I believe we are very much committed to growing and expanding as the people in our community decide to choose us as their number one hospice agency. On weekends, both Saturday and Sunday, nurses will be on call 24 hours a day, both during regular business hours and after hours. Please ask any questions you may have regarding our schedule as it is pretty straightforward. We will be here each and every day of the week, open 24/7.

What is Hospice Care
This is a type of healthcare about improving the quality of life of terminally ill patients by providing them with compassionate, quality care. Patients can find a significant improvement in their quality of life by managing and alleviating their pain and symptoms. As the name implies, hospice care doesn’t focus on curing an illness, but rather focuses on caring for the patient during whatever time is left for him or her to enjoy life.
It is very important to mention that the care you receive in hospice is done by an interdisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, therapists, counselors, home health aides, and volunteers. Each member of the team has a specific role to play and periodically visits the patient at home to check on him/her. In case the patient’s condition changes or he or she requires medical services, nursing is on call 24/7 to provide assistance.
The following services are provided by hospice care:
- Physician services
- Nursing services
- Chaplain and spiritual services for you and your loved ones
- Social work and counseling
- Medicine to ease pain
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Dietician
- Physical and speech therapy
- Counseling for your loved ones
